Since graduating from Harvard, my career has been guided by an instinct for pattern recognition and a habit of acting early. In the mid-1990s I moved from analog tools to CompuServe and AOL, and at Harvard Business School I coded the HTML framework for our student publication, months before the internet boom validated that bet.
In 1998 I joined Oracle as Director of Strategy. Working on Larry Ellison’s vision for Oracle Online, I helped architect the Oracle Store, a pioneering B2B e-commerce platform that became a case study in digital transformation.
In 1999 I founded ShipServ, building one of the earliest SaaS marketplace ecosystems. We scaled across seven global offices and implemented remote work protocols by 2005, guided by applied systems thinking and a focus on real productivity.
That same discipline shaped MySigrid, launched in 2016. I saw a new shift in how we work and relate, as AI reached critical mass. We chose augmentation over substitution and built symbiotic systems where technology amplifies human judgment.
MySigrid is also a values statement. Since 2017 we have cultivated exceptional talent in the Philippines with long-term career paths, competitive pay, comprehensive HMO family coverage, and benefits that protect dignity and stability. Our model resists the erosion of security seen in the gig economy and the family strain caused by economic centralization. Since co-founding MySigrid, my guiding principle has been clear: authentic transformation comes from the fusion of human resilience and intelligent systems design. Technology matters, yet people give it purpose.
My view of leadership was forged early as the eldest of five, raised by a remarkable single mother in the Philippines. Responsibility and empathy were not theories, they were daily practice that taught me to navigate complexity while staying grounded in human-centered values.
That foundation shaped how I built MySigrid’s operating frameworks. Scalable systems require more than efficient processes, they need cultures that protect dignity and drive results. We designed support across client engagement, operations, and strategy so leaders can focus on their highest-value work while we handle the complexity.
I champion augmentative intelligence, the intentional use of AI to enhance judgment, creativity, and connection. We pursue efficiency without sacrificing the relationships that create trust and innovation. This commitment extends to service in remote Philippine islands through food distribution, education, and disaster relief, the same values that guide our business.
